Be desperate for God

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

Every other thing can fail, but God cannot fail. If you find God, you become unshakable in such a time like this.  God is a Spirit, but He has chosen to manifest Himself to us through His Son (the Word) and His Holy Spirit. Simply, to find God is to receive His word and be anointed by the Holy Spirit. When God speaks to you and anoints you, nothing can withstand you in this world. No devil, sickness, coronavirus, poverty, or such can defeat you. The best answer I have for you for such a time like this is that you should be desperate for God until you hear His voice and you are anointed.

“And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.” 1 Samuel 10:6

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

Maybe all you can see right now is your weakness and your challenges. And on top of it you cannot even figure out what to do. Turn to God in holy desperation and I can assure you, neither your weakness nor your challenges will matter anymore. God said you shall find Him if you search for Him with your whole heart. Stop looking for an alternative to God. Focus your heart on finding Him. And it shall be well with you. May you find God today in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, anoint me and let Your word come unto me in Jesus name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

The Voice and the noise

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.” Isaiah 30:21

The sound you follow determines the soundness of your life. But beware, both the noise and the voice make sounds. You must differentiate the voice from the noise and follow the voice. The noise is in most cases louder than the voice but your breakthrough is in hearing the voice and following it. The noise will give you fear, the voice will give you faith. If all you can hear is the noise, you are in trouble. The noise will cast you down, the voice will lift you up. The voice will give you direction, the noise will give you a distraction.

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” Psalms 32:8

“And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.  And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?” 1 kings 19:12-13

Most times, noises appear as voices but you must be able to differentiate the voice from the noise for a forceful and profitable life. The voice is what you need to enjoy peace in the midst of war, to enjoy tranquility in the midst of storms, to enjoy prosperity and sound health in the midst of pandemics. Three keys can help you to access the voice for your destiny. They include fellowship with God, meditation on His Word, and obedience to scriptural instructions. I silence every noise around you in Jesus name. May you hear the voice of the Lord in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, kill the noise around me and grant me access to Your voice in Jesus name.

Don’t be intimidated!

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” John 14:1

Don’t be intimidated by what is happening around the world, but find out what God has said about you, believe it, and walk in it. The fact that the world is in trouble does not mean that you are in trouble! I laughed when I saw a video tagging some men of God as false because of the pandemic, little did they know that a lot of people actually experienced the declaration of those men of God despite the pandemic. Never confuse individual prophesies with national or international prophecies. It is your responsibility to choose what you believe. It is what you believe that you will receive despite what is happening around you.

“A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.  Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;” Psalms 91:7-9

“They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever..” Psalms 125:1-2

In such a time like this, it will be tough for the world but it does not have to be tough for you. The widow of Zarepath in the bible had abundance despite the fact that there was famine in the land. Noah and those in the Ark were not affected by the water that swept the whole world. Egypt was in trouble but yet Goshen was peaceful. One thing is common to the people that was separated, they heard God and believed Him. The arm of flesh will fail in such a time like this, it is important for you to seek the face of God. Beloved may you hear God in such a time like this in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let your mercy locate me, help me to hear what you are saying to me in Jesus name.

What to do next 7

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” Rev 22:12

The next thing you are going to do is to get ready for His coming. You are going to align your life with the word of God in all that you do daily. You are going to walk in love for God and love for your neighbors. You are going to occupy and live for Him till He comes. I said to some of my friends that if Jesus does not come on time, man will destroy the earth by himself. Man has created biological weapons, nuclear weapons, and all that. Some news is saying that corona virus was created. Beloved, get ready, the scriptures are being fulfilled in our presence, Jesus is coming soon.

“But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.  Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” Matthew 24:43-44
“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.” 1 Corinthians 15:52-54

Man is an eternal being, man is a spirit. This world is a temporary residence. Our physical body permits us to operate in this physical world. The body is corruptible. We have an eternal body that is not corruptible. Beloved, don’t be too comfortable in this perishing world, get ready for His coming. Live your life in such a way that when He comes you should not be found wanting. Forsake all iniquities through the grace given to you, walk in the wisdom and in the power of the Holy Ghost and start living with eternity in mind.

Prayer for today: Oh God, keep me in your footstep daily and let me be fit for your eternal kingdom in Jesus name.

What to do next 6

“And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.  And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.” Luke 19:3-4

The next thing you are going to do is to pursue your dreams and visions. You must find out what you need to do to achieve them and do it. You are going to stop complaining and saying it cannot be done. You are going to build on your strength, find answers to your weaknesses, take the opportunities, subdue the threats, and trust God all the way. Your statement will have to change from it cannot be done to what can I do to make it happen.

“And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:35

“And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:40

Beloved, I am sure you know you cannot just fold your hands and do nothing about the dreams in your heart. Pray for the power of the Holy Spirit, study to strategize, start with what you have, go the extra mile, and fulfill your dreams. David did not do the talking alone, he put his efforts where his mouth was. Mary was told that she could achieve the supernatural when the power of the Highest overshadowed her. May you receive strength and wisdom to get results this year in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, anoint me and give me grace for exploits this year in Jesus name.

What to do next 5

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

The next thing you are going to do is to set your goals and pray through on them. You must answer the question of what you have set your mind to do this year. You must determine what you really want in your life. And commit them to the Lord in prayer. I have discovered that when you pray through on anything, every other thing will fall in place. Your steps shall be ordered. You will know what to do and the right people will be attracted to help you.

“And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:” 1 Corinthians 9:25-26

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14

Beloved, don’t run as someone who is beating the air, discipline yourself to set specific goals, and put a timeline against them. If you do, you will know what to pray and what to study. You will not be wasting your precious time on things or people that do not align with your plan. Even in setting your goals, seek the Lord to guide you. It is best to run with the visions and goals that God has for your life (Hab 2:1-2). May your life be profitable to you and God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, teach me to profit and lead me by the way I should go in Jesus name.

What to do next 4

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19

The next thing you are going to do is to walk in the power of God afresh and continually. Beloved, you cannot afford to be powerless. There has been no time on earth like this time when there are so many serpents and scorpions. Devil’s agents are around us and more wicked. Apart from this, many people are in trouble that only the power of God can solve.  The good news is that Jesus has given us power through the Holy Spirit.

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18

“And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand…... And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm. Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god” Acts 28:3-6

Beloved, the question is where is the power as of old? The serpent that the native of Melita knew always kill instantly could not kill Paul. Yet people are living in fear of corona virus including Christians. I think we should depart from iniquity, fast regularly, spend quality time daily with God in prayer and the word, and live in obedience to God, if we want to walk in power. There is no better time to show the world that power belongs to our God. May God anoint us afresh with the Holy Ghost and power in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, anoint me with the Holy Spirit and power in Jesus name.
