Reach out your hand and take it!

“Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.” 2 kings 6:7

Hear the word of the Lord: the opportunity is before you, the miracle is before you, reach out your hand and take it. Don’t say, but Pastor, I can’t see the opportunity, or I can’t see the miracle. This is because if you have prayed for the opportunity or the miracle in the name of Jesus, then you have it (Mark 10:24, John 16:23). You must act in the direction of your prayer and not contrary to it.

“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Mark 11:24

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12

The man in our text today borrowed an ax to cut a tree for the expansion of a place of worship but the ax head fell into the river. The man of God threw in a stick and the ax head floated. The man simply reached out his and took it. Now if you believe God has given you what you asked for you will be passionate, forceful, and aggressive. You will do what you are supposed to do and you will not stop until you take what belongs to you. You will not allow any setback to deter you, you will take action until you have it.

Prayer for today: I reach out my hands and take what belongs to me in Jesus name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

That I may see

“And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.” Genesis 21:19

We see with our minds and not with our eyes. This is why so many people are sitting where opportunities abound and yet they cannot see it. Our lives depend on the opportunities we can see and take. Many people are like Hagar, they are standing beside the water and yet they are crying and dying for lack of water. God opened Hagar’s eyes so she could have water for herself and our son. May God open your eyes to see in Jesus name.

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Ephesians 3:20

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,” Ephesians 1:18

There are two keys you can activate for you to see. The first is that you can pray through for God to open your eyes. The second is that you can think through for you to see. It is a real breakthrough to see and to know what to do to change your level. Unfortunately, most people are lazy at praying and thinking. This is because both are hard work. However, if you are tired of your present level, you must engage in praying, thinking, or both so that you may see. May your eyes of your mind receive light for your breakthrough in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God open my eyes that I may see the opportunities around me and take them in Jesus name.

You will get through this!

“For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.” Psalm 18:29

Does it seem that a troop has come against you? Have you come against a strong wall standing against your progress? Hear the word from the Lord, You shall get through it. You are coming out of this debt. You are coming out of this sickness. The wall shall crumble. The troop shall be subdued. God is standing by you. The red sea could not hinder Him, neither could the Jericho wall resist Him. His voice breaks the cedars. His voice divides the flame of fire. Do you believe? The man in our text this morning saw it all. Nothing could resist Him because God was standing by him. He even brought a giant called Goliath down using a weak instrument. This same God is standing by you.

“The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.” Psalm 29:5

“And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong. But he passing through the midst of them went his way,” Luke 4:29-30

Some people who were filled with wrath came against Jesus. They led Him unto the brow of the hill and wanted to cast him down headlong but he just passed through the midst of them. Don’t ask me how it happened? This is because you too are going to pass through this, and your only explanation will be that God helped you. I see you have a breakthrough testimony this week in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God hold me in Your hand and take me through this troop and this wall in Jesus name.

God is always a good God

“O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” Psalm 34:8

God factor is the major factor in our lives. He is full of goodness, mercy, compassion, and blessings. He can be trusted with our lives, at all times and in all situations. He is the unchangeable changer. He is beautiful for all situations. He is the very help in time of need. He is the hope for the hopeless. He is the strength of the weak. He is the deliverer from the hands of the oppressors. He is all that we need in impossible and difficult situations. He has given us unhindered access to Himself through the Lord Jesus Christ.

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;” Hebrews 1:1-2

All of the goodness of God is available to us in Christ Jesus. Jesus has been appointed heirs of all things. You can lay your hands on all things through the Lord Jesus. You can achieve your goals and visions through Him. Are you feeling weak and worn out, take a new strength in the name of Jesus. Are you fainting in the journey of life, let the goodness of God refresh you in the name of Jesus. Are you deserted and lonely, may you receive men like Angels today in the name of Jesus. God is always good and I see Him manifesting His goodness in all your situation in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God show me your goodness in every area of my life in Jesus name.

Your mind and your prayers

“Listen to me! You can pray for anything, and if you believe, you have it; it’s yours!” Mark 11:24 (TLB)

How true is the statement that what the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve? The state of your mind determines the effectiveness of your prayers. Believing is in the mind. If you pray it with your mouth and you believe it in your mind, you will have it. This is why meditation on the word of God can make you strong and effective in prayer. You cannot pray effectively with doubt in your mind.

“For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” James 1:7-8 (KJV)

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9 (KJV)

When there is doubt in your mind, you become unstable. However, if there is faith in your mind, you become stable, unmoveable, and bold in prayer. In actual fact, if you can think it in your mind and pray it with your mouth, God will do it. Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” May you receive answers to your prayers in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I drive out doubt from my mind and I receive the spirit of faith for breakthrough in Jesus name.

The necessity of a sound mind

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

No matter how spiritual, you are, you need a sound mind to experience sound life. Every revelation must be processed by your mind to make it a reality in your life. A sound mind is one of the antidotes to fear that has paralyzed many in the game of life. The good news is that God gives a sound mind. The other good news is that you can develop a sound mind by keeping your mind informed and by making use of it.

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,” Ephesians 1:18

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Philippians 2:5

An enlightened mind is a sound mind. When your mind is enlightened, you will be sure of the glory ahead of you and your inheritance as the saint of the Lord. When your mind is enlightened just like the Lord Jesus, you will know what to do in every situation and do it for supernatural results. May your mind be able to carry what God wants to do in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me a sound mind in Jesus name.

God is for you

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:28

God is for you, no one, no policy, no demon, no power can be against you. The consciousness of God being on your side will give you boldness to do what you have in mind to do. If your goal is not against the law of God or society, go for it. If the accuser has anything against you, repent, claim the forgiveness in Christ Jesus and silence the accuser.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Rev 12:11

“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.” 1 Samuel 17:45

David believed that God was for him, he went on to take down Goliath. Beloved, stop magnifying demons above God. Yes, they are real, they attack people’s destiny and goals, but they do not have the final say. God does have the final say. If you are convinced that God is with you, you can take down all oppositions and achieve your goals.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let your presence go with me and give me rest in Jesus name.
