Prepare for new things

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19

God wants to do new things in your life, prepare yourself to receive them. These new things include things that are perceived as difficult and impossible. God will make a way in the wilderness, this is talking about the supernatural breakthrough. He will make rivers in the desert, this is talking about supernatural provision and prosperity. Just like a new wine requires a new wine skin, new things require new thinking, new faith, new capacity to receive from God.

“Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.” Matthew 9:17
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 2:5

What God wants to do in your life is beyond you.  You need the mind of God, if you want to receive it. You must first receive a vision from God, then receive faith from God and align your thinking with God’s plan for your life. You can no longer think small or believe small if you really desire to receive these new things. The kind of information you are feeding on and the kind of company you are keeping matter in this aspect. You also have to make a priority your daily personal fellowship with God.

May you be ready when God visits you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, enlarge my capacity to receive new things from you in Jesus name.

The Word and The Spirit

“Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” John 3:5

God’s intervention in the affairs of men is through His Word and His Spirit. There is no way a man’s life can remain the same if the word of God comes to him and the Spirit of God rest on him. If you are desperate for a change in any area of your life, what you need is an encounter with the Word and the Spirit of God. The Word will help you to renew your mind while the Spirit will empower you for the new life. Until a man’s mind is renewed, his life cannot be renewed.

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2
“And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.” 1 Samuel 10:6

Beloved, a man who is genuinely saved has encountered the Word and the Spirit. However, there is more beyond salvation in the work of the Word and the Spirit in the life of a man. The Word and the Spirit bring a man into the life of the kingdom of God on earth. If you are struggling in any area of your life, what you need is the Word and the Spirit of God (Genesis 1:1-3, Ezekiel 1:1-3, 1 John 5:4-8, Act 10:38, Luke 5:1-6, Matthew 8:4-10)

May you experience a newness of life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let Your Word come unto me and let Your Spirit rest upon me in Jesus name.

Receive and achieve

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1

God’s grace, wisdom and anointing are available for results in your life.  As a Child of God, your achievement will depend on what you receive from God and not your own strength. God is willing to pour Himself into you for supernatural results.  Your shinning will depend on your positioning for the glory of God to rise upon you just as the moon needs the glory of the sun to shine. You do not need to generate the light just position yourself to reflect the light of God. The limit of your achievements is the limit of your receiving.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.” Luke 4:18

What should you do? Spend time with God until you become emptied of unbelief, doubt and fear, and you are filled with His spirit. Connect to His grace and wisdom through meditation on the word of God. Go forward in the consciousness of His grace upon your life. I see God putting His strength on you for extraordinary achievement in all your endeavors.

May you be filled with the wisdom and the power of God in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let your glory rise upon me, let your light come unto me for me to rise and shine in Jesus name.

Divine intervention

“The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:14

Divine intervention is about God making things happen for you. You will observe different interventions of God on behalf of His people in the scripture. These include divine deliverance (Exodus 12-14, Act 12:5-10, Acts 16:25-26); divine prosperity (Genesis 30:36-43, Luke 5:5-6); Divine provision (1 kings 17:12-16, 2 kings 4:1-7); divine health and healing (Psalm 105:37, Mark 5:29), divine connection (Genesis 41:9-14, 1 Samuel 16:18); divine security and protection (Daniel 3:24-25;6:22, Psalm 91) and miracles, signs and wonders (Isaiah 8:18). These are what God will do for you this year in Jesus name. You just need to position yourself for God to intervene for you.

“For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.” Psalm 44:3
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1

You will need to express your total dependence on Him by giving time for a personal fellowship with Him, walking in obedience, stopping to worry but rather praying, and walking by faith. Let God activate the favor you need to possess the land and let His glory rest on you to bring about your shinning among men.

May God show up in every affair of your life this year in Jesus name.
HAPPY NEW YEAR

Prayer for today: Oh God this year 2020, let me possess my possessions by Your might hand in Jesus name.

Fear not!

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

Fear is a weapon of the enemy. Its supporting instruments are doubt and unbelief. Whenever a man responds to God’s word with doubt and unbelief, fear sets in. When fear sets in, it opens the door to the enemy to operate. It does not matter what you have heard or what you are going through, God’s word is powerful enough to change things and handle the situation. As you are getting ready to enter the year 2020, God asked me to tell you to fear not, only believe.

“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:36
“Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.” Acts 27:25

The consciousness of God’s presence, the infallibility of His word and the power of His love must give you boldness to conquer your fear and move into your destiny. The ruler of the Synagogue was told that his daughter was dead but Jesus told him not to fear but believe. He believed Jesus and the situation turned to his favor. Paul and others went through a great storm that made the people not to eat for at least 14 days. God told Paul that none of them would die. Paul believed God and communicated the same word to the people. None of them was lost in the storm. Beloved, I see God manifesting in that situation and bringing you victory. Fear not and enter the year 20220 with confidence that God is turning things around for your favor.

May fear die, may faith be alive in you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God manifest your power in my life and let my situation of fear turn to miracle testimony in Jesus name.

A deeper experience with God

“He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.” Psalm 103:7

There are many differences between desiring who God is and what God has. A shallow relationship desires to receive what God has while a deeper relationship desires to receive His person. You will never have to worry about receiving what He has if you have received His person and have a personal understanding of His ways. Majority is interested in the acts of God, but only a few are interested to know His ways. This is what separates the real Christians from the crowd of churchgoers.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33
“As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle.” Job 29:4

You can continually experience the act of God if you have access to the secrets of God. The great news is that God is willing to share His secrets with you if you desire it. Job walked in prosperity and dominion because he had access to the secrets of God. He had a deeper experience with God. Daniel could do what only the gods could do because he had access to the secret of God (Daniel 2, 5, 6; John 10:35). Beloved as we are ending 2019 and approaching 2020, change your approach towards God. Desire a deeper experience with Him to know His ways and His secrets and to walk in it. If you do, you will no longer worry about the benefits of the kingdom that include prosperity, security, dominion and the supernatural.

As you seek God with the whole of your heart, you will find Him in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God take into a deeper experience with You in Jesus name.

Birthing your vision in 2020

“And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.” Luke 2:26.

Do you know that the bible mentioned at least two intercessors who were praying concerning the birth of Jesus Christ? The bible mentioned Simeon and Anna the Prophetess.  It was revealed to Simon that he would not see death until he had seen Christ Jesus. If God needed to raise intercessors to deliver His plan to send Jesus to the world, you too may need intercessors if you have received a vision from God for 2020. Soak yourself in prayers, be in the midst of praying saints, and secure the spiritual strength to birth your vision in 2020. Do not just use this holiday for eating and drinking alone. Even if you have not received a vision, it is not too late to seek God for one.

“Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” Isaiah 66:8
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12

God has a vision for you. God wants to help you. God wants to replace your weakness with His strength. God wants to subdue your adversary and give you your portion. God wants to change your story. Be hungry for God’s presence and for fellowship with Him, don’t be carried away with jesting around with people. You can have 2020 before it arrives, although it is coming in three days’ time.

May you have an encounter with God, may you enter the new year with confidence of victory in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God arise and visit me before the end of this year in Jesus name.
