The voice of a man 1

“And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the Lord hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the Lord fought for Israel.” Joshua 10:14

I decree that in this new month, the Lord shall hear your voice. When God hears the voice of a man, the man experiences the supernatural of God. Joshua commanded the sun and the moon to stand still and God hearkened unto him. Joshua stopped the chronological time for a period because God heard him. It was also said of Jabesh that God granted him that which he requested.

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:10

There are certain time in the life of a man that the only way out is that the voice of the man must be heard by God. In such a situation if God does not intervene, shame, failure, defeats are inevitable. Such was the situation of Joshua, Jabesh, and also Bartimeus in Mark 10. God hearkened to these three men and their situations became testimonies. God has promised to hear you too. Psalms 50:15 says, “And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.”

Beloved, hear the word of the Lord, this situation shall turn to testimony, call upon God right now and He shall hear your voice.

The voice of the Lord

“The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.” Psalm 29:4-5

I decree that in this new month, you shall hear the voice of the Lord. The voice of the Lord is the origin of the winning faith. The voice of the Lord is the power to break through limitations and stagnations. The voice of the Lord is the power to break the resistance and the power of the enemy. You cannot hear the voice of the Lord and die before your time. I don’t care to know what you are passing through but I care to tell you that the voice of the Lord will change your story.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” John 10:27

“And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.” John 10:5

As a sheep in His pastures, you must hear the voice of the Lord and follow Him. You must also know the voice of the stranger and flee from him. When you go for church service, the most important thing that can happen to you is to hear the voice of the Lord. When you spend time with God in fellowship, your breakthrough is hearing the voice of the Lord. The voice of the Lord will give you direction, boldness and power to fulfill your destiny. The voice of the Lord is the vision from heaven for your life and destiny.

May the voice of the Lord come unto you in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh Lord, let me be attentive to your voice in your most Holy name.

“And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” Genesis 11:6

What have you imagined to do? Go ahead and do it. Yes, there will be an imagination of the enemy against you but it can be cast down. You must carry out your dream with the consciousness of God’s backing. The word of God says nothing that you have imagined to do can be restrained from you. Now destiny war is really won when you have results despite the opposition.

“Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” Psalms 23:5

“As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.’ Romans 8:36-37

Beloved, you must be ready to eat while the enemies watch and they cannot do anything about it. Don’t suspend acting on your dreams because there are attackers and destroyers around you. They will always be there as long as you have something worthwhile to accomplish. Paul said, “in all these things we are more than conquerors.” If you have dropped your dreams because of the adversary, pick it up again. Pray, plan and execute your dreams despite the presence of the adversary.

May your destiny count in this challenging world in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Nothing that I have imagined to do shall be restrained from me in Jesus name.

Winning the destiny war 8

“And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Cor 10:6

Beloved, working in obedience is key to defeating the strongman, pulling down strongholds and winning the destiny war. There is a point where obedience, faith, and wisdom are the same. This point is when you respond positively to the instruction of God for your life. At this point, you cannot lose come what may. The master of disobedience is our archenemy, satan himself; when we walk in disobedience we give him free access into our lives. However, when we walk in obedience we render him powerless in our lives.

“And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.” 1 Samuel 15:22-23

“His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.’ John 2:5

Your greatest power over the enemy is still your obedience to God. You access the best of God by obeying His word. The act of obedience will be sacrificial most times because it will involve doing things that are not convenient but are the will of God. Our prosperity, security, promotion, and safety that we so much desire will not be an issue if we can hear God and obey Him.

Let the blood of Jesus wash away every act of disobedience in your life and bring defeat to the strongman attached to such in Jesus name,

Prayer for today: I kill every seed of disobedience to the word of God in my life in Jesus name.

Winning the destiny war 7

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Cor 10:5

Anything that does not want you to experience God is against your destiny. You cannot fulfill your destiny alone. You were not sent into this world to do it alone. You must experience God in every aspect of your life to win the destiny war. Every imagination, argument, thought that does not want you to experience God must be cast down.

“And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O Lord, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.” 2 Samuel 15:31

“But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.’ Acts 13:8-9

The carriers of information that is against your destiny must be uprooted. The personality opposing God and the knowledge of Him in your life must be uprooted.  The Ahithopels and Elymas the sorcerers must be uprooted. Your destiny must become dangerous to be resisted. May you generate power to frustrate every imagination, plan, thought that is against God in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God let me experience you in every area of my life in Jesus name.

Winning the destiny war 6

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” Proverbs 23:7

You must have the mindset of a winner to win the destiny war. Any mindset that is supporting a stronghold must be pulled down. Any pattern of thinking that supports fear, failure and defeat must be changed. A new pattern of thinking that supports faith, success, and victory must be embraced. Your mindset determines your life. Your mindset determines what you say and what you do.

“And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:32

“And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.’ 2 Kings 1:10

The fact that poverty or failure has been in your lineage does not mean it must continue with you. Your acceptance of Christ changes everything. 2 Cor 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” What do you need to do? Meditate on the word of God, spend time with Jesus until the mind of Christ manifests in you. Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Beloved, don’t conform but be transformed in Jesus name.

Winning the destiny war 5

“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.” 1 Samuel 17:46

Making a decree in the name of the Lord cannot be overemphasized in dealing with strongholds and strongmen in our lives. Beloved, you need to be convincingly convinced that you are anointed and that you can speak in the name of the Lord and see results. Such a bold declaration is a decree that can uproot any strongman or stronghold no matter how long they have been in place. David said those words against Goliath in the name of the Lord, knowing fully well that he was anointed. Consequently, Goliath was wasted using an ordinary instrument despite his strength, armory, experience, and height.

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.” Job 22:28

“Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.’ Matthew 18:18

There is power in your spoken words. This kind of faith-filled words do not depend on your size, skills, and qualifications, they depend on the unlimited size of your God. When you speak, you must expect results and it will be so.

May you continually see the results of your declaration in Jesus name.
