Go and make news!

“Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts,” Isaiah 8:18.KJV

News is made when the unusual and the unexpected occur, transforming the impossible into the possible. David’s triumph over Goliath was newsworthy because it was an unexpected victory. Had Goliath slain David, it would have been ordinary and not news. Similarly, when Samson tore apart a lion with his bare hands, it was extraordinary news. However, had the lion killed Samson, it would have been unremarkable. Elisha’s miracle of making an iron axe head float defied natural laws, making it a significant event. If the axe head had simply sunk, it would have been unsurprising. These examples teach us that when we face seemingly insurmountable challenges, it is an opportunity to create news and showcase God’s power through signs and wonders. Hear the word of the Lord: Your difficult situation is about to become news, a testament to God’s miraculous intervention.

Beloved, God’s word declares that you are destined for signs and wonders, making news a natural part of your life. Embrace this truth and trust in God’s power to work through you. In Matthew 14, Peter walked on water towards Jesus, creating news that still resonates today. Had he stayed in the boat, the miracle would never have occurred. Speak to your challenging circumstances and declare them transformed by God’s miraculous hand. Recall the story of the three Hebrew boys—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—who were thrown into the fiery furnace. Instead of being consumed by flames, they walked out unscathed, creating news of God’s deliverance. Like them, your faith and declarations can turn ordinary moments into extraordinary testimonies. Go forth and make news, bringing God’s wonders to light for all to see.

Prophetic word: Thus says the Lord, 'I have called you by name; you are Mine. You are for signs and wonders in this generation. I am the God of the impossible, and I will turn your trials into testimonies. Just as I was with David, Samson, and Elisha, so I am with you. I am about to showcase My power through your life in ways that will astound those around you. Fear not, for the challenges before you are merely opportunities for My glory to be revealed. Stand firm in your faith and declare My word over your situation. You will see the miraculous, and your story will become a beacon of hope and a testament to My greatness. Go and make news, for I am the Lord your God, and I am with you always.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your word that declares we are for signs and wonders. We stand on Your promises and believe that You are the God of the impossible. Lord, we lift up every difficult situation and challenge we face today. We declare in the mighty name of Jesus that these circumstances are opportunities for Your glory to be revealed. Just as You empowered David to defeat Goliath, Samson to slay the lion, and Elisha to make the axe head float, empower us to overcome our challenges.

Father, we pray for a fresh outpouring of faith and boldness to speak to our mountains and see them moved. Let Your miraculous power flow through our lives, turning our trials into testimonies and our struggles into stories of victory. May our lives become living news of Your goodness, grace, and power. We trust in You, Lord, and we thank You for the signs and wonders that will manifest. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Use agreement!

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 18:19KJV

We cannot overstate the power of agreement in prayer during times of struggle and doubt. Jesus Himself assured us in Matthew 18:19, “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” This promise emphasizes the strength found in unity and shared faith. Ecclesiastes 4:9 reinforces this, stating, “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.” The partnership in prayer and purpose brings about divine results that solitary efforts may not achieve. When brethren are united in prayer the anointing is powerful (Psalms 133).

Consider the example of Paul and Silas in Acts 16:25-26. Their united prayers and praises led to an earthquake that broke their chains and opened the prison doors, demonstrating that agreement in faith and prayer can lead to miraculous outcomes. Conversely, Uriah’s tragic fate in 2 Samuel 11:15 shows the consequences of isolation in battle; without support, even the strongest can fall. Therefore, surround yourself with faithful companions who will stand with you in agreement, fortifying your prayers and ensuring that you are not fighting your battles alone.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the promise of Your word that where two or three are gathered in Your name, there You are in the midst of them. We come before You in agreement, standing on the assurance that whatever we ask in unity, it shall be done by our Father in heaven. Lord, we pray for a spirit of unity and faith to permeate our hearts and our communities. Let us find strength and encouragement in each other, as Paul and Silas did, knowing that our collective prayers can break chains and open doors.

We ask, Lord, that You surround us with faithful companions who will stand with us in prayer and support. Help us to lift each other up and bear one another's burdens, fulfilling the law of Christ. As we agree together in prayer for our needs, let Your power be made manifest in our lives. May we see miracles, breakthroughs, and divine interventions as we walk in unity and agreement. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Evil shall not prevail!

“And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.” Romans 16:20KJV

No evil shall prevail against you because your archenemy is bruised under your feet. His plans cannot succeed against you, so do not allow fear or doubt to take hold. As 2 Timothy 4:18 assures us, “And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” You are delivered and preserved by the Lord. Rest in His promise and know that you are protected.

You dwell in the secret place of the Almighty, covered by the shadow of the Almighty (Psalms 91:1), ensuring that no evil can prevail against you. God has sent me this morning to remind you that evil shall not prevail, but you shall overcome. Trust in the Lord’s deliverance and protection, for as Psalms 34:19 declares, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” Believe the Word, declare the Word, walk in the Word, and do not be afraid. You are victorious in Christ, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your promise that evil shall not prevail against me. I declare that every plan of the enemy is crushed under my feet, and I stand victorious through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Lord, deliver me from every evil work and preserve me unto Your heavenly kingdom. I trust in Your protection as I dwell in the secret place of the Almighty, covered by Your shadow. Strengthen my faith to believe, declare, and walk in Your Word, knowing that I am more than a conqueror through Christ. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Living the scripture

“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” Luke 24:49KJV

As a Christian, you must live in the reality of the scriptures, allowing God's promises to manifest in your life. This entails enjoying God’s blessings and walking in triumph over any afflictions the enemy may try to bring upon you. Two essential keys to this experience are living a Spirit-empowered life and having revelational knowledge of the Word of God. Acts 1:8 states, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Additionally, John 10:35 reminds us, "If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken."

Jesus emphasizes in John 6:63, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." Walking in the reality of the written Word requires both revelation and power. The Word must become flesh in our lives. 2 Corinthians 3:6 clarifies, "Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life." Therefore, by embracing the empowerment of the Holy Spirit and understanding and believing God's Word (Luke 24:45), we can live out the scripture fully, experiencing its transformative power and divine promises daily.

Prophetic word: The Lord is calling you into a deeper realm of His presence, where His promises will become a living reality in your life. He is pouring out His Spirit upon you, endowing you with power from above. As you yield to the Holy Spirit, you will walk in victory over every challenge and affliction that comes your way. The Word of God will come alive in you, bringing revelation and transformation. You are destined to be a witness to His glory, not only in your immediate surroundings, but to the ends of the earth. God’s word is unbreakable, and His promises are sure. Prepare your heart, for you will experience the quickening of the Spirit, and the words of Jesus will be life to you. You are called to be a minister of the new covenant, living by the Spirit, which gives life. The Lord says, “Arise and shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you” (Isaiah 60:1). Walk in this truth, and see His power manifest in every area of your life.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your promises and the power of Your Word. I ask that You pour out Your Spirit upon me afresh, enduing me with power from on high. Let the Holy Spirit quicken me, bringing life and revelation to every word that You have spoken. Help me to walk in the reality of Your scriptures, experiencing Your promises in every aspect of my life. I declare victory over every affliction and challenge that the enemy may bring. Empower me to be a faithful witness of Your glory, from my immediate surroundings to the uttermost parts of the earth. Transform me by Your Spirit and make me an able minister of the new covenant, living not by the letter but by the Spirit that gives life. I thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and the fulfillment of Your promises in my life. In Jesus' mighty name, I pray. Amen.

You only need a word!

“The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.” Matthew 8:8KJV

In any situation, seek God's word and you'll find a solution. In Matthew 8:8, the centurion demonstrates profound faith by acknowledging that Jesus' word is sufficient to heal his servant. This example reminds us that when we seek a word from God, it can bring solutions and miracles into our lives. As Psalms 107:20 states, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." Whether through blessings, instructions, directions, or corrections, a word from God can deliver us from any adversity we face. By immersing ourselves in God's word through meditation (Joshua 1:8; Psalms 1:1-3), we align ourselves with His will and receive the guidance and strength we need.

Moreover, prayer is a powerful means to receive a word from the Lord. In 1 Samuel 30:8, David inquired of the Lord and received guidance on how to pursue and recover all that was lost. Reading the scriptures diligently, as Daniel did in Daniel 9:2, can also bring revelations and words from God. Additionally, maintaining a positive relationship with God's servants can lead to receiving timely words, as seen in 2 Kings 4:2, 4:16, and 1 Kings 17:14-15. Regular fellowship with the Holy Spirit and practicing quietness in His presence allow us to hear His voice clearly. Keep in mind, a word from the Lord can completely transform your situation.

Prophetic word: The Lord is speaking to you today, saying, "Fear not, for I am with you. Just as I spoke a word and healed the centurion's servant, so I speak a word over your situation: You are delivered from all your afflictions. I see your struggles and hear your cries. My word is powerful, and it will not return to me void but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Trust in me, for I send you a word of healing, a word of restoration, a word of provision, and a word of peace. Stand firm in faith, for your deliverance is now. Meditate on my promises, seek me in prayer, and you will see my glory manifested in your life."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and faith. We thank You for the power of Your word, which brings life, healing, and restoration. Just as the centurion trusted in Your spoken word, we trust in Your promises for our lives. Lord, we ask for a word from You today, a word that will transform our circumstances and bring deliverance from every trouble we face. Speak to our hearts, guide our steps, and let Your word illuminate our path.

Father, we lift up every burden, every sickness, every financial struggle, and every broken relationship before You. We proclaim Your word of healing, provision, and peace over these situations. We pray for the faith to stand on Your word, knowing that what You have spoken will surely come to pass. Holy Spirit, fill us with Your presence, comfort us in our quiet times, and help us to discern Your voice. We thank You, Lord, for the miracles and breakthroughs that are coming our way. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

The light that gives victory

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4 KJV

Let me share with you the lights that gives victory in this world in every situation. The light is in our text for today, 1 John 5:4, which I paraphrase this way, “I am born of God, and I am an overcomer; as I exercise my faith, I enjoy victory.” If you are born of water and the Spirit (John 3:5), you are born of God. God lives in you (1 John 4:4). You are by default victorious and an overcomer even before the challenges show up. You must approach every challenge with this consciousness and then declare your victory. This was how David handled Goliath; armed with faith, he declared victory over the giant and prevailed (1 Samuel 17:45–47). Our Lord Jesus Christ, in His earthly ministry, confronted every situation with the authority of God’s Word and faith, manifesting light and triumph over darkness (John 1:5, Matthew 4:1-11).

Consider how the Israelites, by faith, saw the walls of Jericho fall (Hebrews 11:30). They marched around the city in obedience to God's command, and their faith led to victory. Similarly, Paul and Silas, even in the depths of a prison, sang praises to God, and their faith brought forth a miraculous deliverance (Acts 16:25-26). You are empowered by the same light, the same faith that brings victory. Every challenge you face is an opportunity for God’s light to shine through you, for faith to rise, and for victory to be declared. Embrace this light, for in Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind (John 1:4). This light within you is your assurance of victory, a beacon that overcomes the darkness of the world.

Prophetic word: Beloved, hear the word of the Lord today: "You are born of God, and you carry within you the seed of victory. No matter the circumstances that confront you, know this—your faith is the key that unlocks triumph. Just as David faced Goliath with unshakable confidence in God's power, so too shall you face your giants and overcome. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you and empowers you to conquer every obstacle. Stand firm in your faith, for the Lord says, 'You are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you.' The battles you face are not yours but the Lord’s, and He has already secured your victory. Walk in this truth, declare your triumph, and watch the mountains move and the walls fall."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the victory You have secured for us through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We thank You that we are born of You, and as such, we overcome the world through our faith. Lord, we declare that every challenge, obstacle, and giant that stands before us must bow to the power of Your name. We receive the light of Your Word that dispels all darkness and brings clarity, strength, and victory. Father, just as David triumphed over Goliath, we proclaim victory over every situation in our lives. Empower us by Your Spirit to stand firm, to walk boldly, and to declare Your promises with unwavering faith. We thank You that in every trial, Your presence goes before us, securing our triumph. In Jesus' mighty name, we give you all the glory, honor, and praise. Amen.

Let there be light!

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Genesis 1:1-3 KJV

In the beginning, when the earth was without form and void, darkness covered the face of the deep. But then, the Spirit of God moved upon the waters, and God declared, "Let there be light," and light emerged, dispelling darkness (Genesis 1:2-3). This divine proclamation illustrates that light is the ultimate answer to darkness, disorder, stagnancy, failure, and frustration. It is not just any light; it is a profound, overwhelming light that penetrates the thickest darkness. This invincible light is God's revealed Word, the Word made flesh, which the darkness cannot comprehend. Isaiah declares, "Arise, shine; for thy light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon thee" (Isaiah 60:1).

The Gospel of John reiterates this truth, stating, "And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not" (John 1:5). Furthermore, Psalm 119:130 reminds us that "The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple." This light, brought forth by the revealed Word, provides understanding, transforming mere knowledge into divine wisdom. It is this wisdom that empowers us to overcome life's challenges and turn situations around. By embracing the light of God's Word, we receive the enlightenment and wisdom needed to navigate through darkness and bring forth divine order and success in our lives.

Prophetic word: I declare that in this season, the light of God's revealed Word will break through every form of darkness in your life. Just as God commanded light to shine in the beginning, His light will illuminate every area of your existence shrouded in confusion, stagnation, and despair. This light will not only dispel the darkness but will also bring divine order and clarity. The wisdom that comes from this light will empower you to make decisions that lead to breakthroughs and success. Arise and shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is rising upon you. No darkness can withstand the light that God is bringing into your life. Receive this light and walk in the fullness of His glory.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word that brings light and understanding. Just as You declared "Let there be light" in the beginning, I ask that You speak light into every dark situation in my life. Let Your light shine brightly, dispelling all confusion, fear, and despair. I pray that the entrance of Your Word will illuminate my path and grant me the wisdom and understanding I need to navigate through life's challenges. Lord, let Your glory rise upon me, making me a beacon of Your light in this world. Help me to walk in Your light and reflect Your glory in everything I do. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
