Only believe! 4

“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken he said unto the ruler of the synagogue, BE NOT AFRAID, ONLY BELIEVE” Mark 5:36

Is there any situation that is causing you to be afraid? Have you heard any news that is bringing fear to you? Jesus says to you, only believe. “Only believe” is a very powerful instrument to kill fear. It does not matter what you have heard or seen. Jesus is saying to you, only believe. Fear has the capacity to paralyze, kill, and destroy. Fear comes from hearing, just as faith comes from hearing. Jesus knew this when he heard what was said to Jairus. He knew that the fact that Jairus had been told that his daughter was dead would bring fear and torment into his life. He told him not to be afraid but only to believe.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17KJV

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4 KJV

The question is, What are you going to believe? Jairus only needed to believe that his daughter was not dead, despite what he had been told and that the people were not lying. When Jesus got to his house, he said that the girl was not dead but sleeping. Was he lying? No. He was seeing what the physical eyes could not see. I ask God to open the eyes of your spirit. Beloved, I challenge you to believe God and doubt the enemy.

Unbelief be gone, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: I destroy the root of fear and unbelief in my life, in Jesus’ name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Only believe! 3

“Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?” John 11:40

The theme of the Bible can be summarized in two words: “Only believe.” Believe God and His word. Believe in Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Believe in yourself and what God has deposited in you. Only those who believe see the glory. Unfortunately, this is also true about the opposite: doubt or unbelief. If you believe and do not doubt, there is no mountain you cannot move, and there is no storm you cannot stop.

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23 KJV

“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?.” Mark 4:39-40 KJV

Say it over and over again, Lord, I believe. It does not matter how impossible the situation is; say it loud, Lord, I believe. Even if the situation looks so hard that unbelief is gripping you, say it loudly and repeatedly, Lord, I believe. You know why? Because you only need to believe to receive a breakthrough. God’s word and promises are yes and amen. He will never fail you, if you only believe. I see God giving you an unusual breakthrough this week, in Jesus name.

Unbelief be gone, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I believe, show me Your glory, in Jesus’ name.

“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken he said unto the ruler of the synagogue, be not afraid, ONLY BELIEVE” Mark 5:36

Jairus was told not to trouble the Master anymore because they thought the situation had become hopeless. The girl was dead, and this was irreversible for them. Beloved, that was a belief!! Jesus told him, Don’t believe that; believe me, and a miracle will happen. Jairus chose to believe in Jesus, and he got his miracle.

“Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” Mark 9:24 NKJV

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 KJV

The miracle you desire may not have happened to someone you know before; only believe that God can create it for you. The problem may be running in your family; only believe that it will not get to you. The doctor or the expert may have told you that there is no hope; only believe that there is hope in Jesus Christ. Jesus needs an agreement from you; that is, you need to believe that He can help you. Every time a man exercises unbelief, it shows that he needs more information (Romans 10:17).

Unbelief be gone, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help my unbelief, in Jesus’ name.

“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken he said unto the ruler of the synagogue, be not afraid, ONLY BELIEVE” Mark 5:36

Whenever we don’t believe God's word or conclude that something is impossible, we hurt ourselves. Also, when we don’t believe that we can achieve something because it looks impossible, we hinder ourselves. The Bible teaches that all things are possible, and God demands our “belief” to work out possibility out of impossibility. The law of this dimensional world demands that we believe in making things happen, whether we are physically qualified or not.

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6 KJV

“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23 KJV

The truth is that a lack of belief is actually a belief in something. There is no true “unbelief” in life. Every unbelief is a belief in something, a belief in the negative, of what is expected or thought; a belief in the status quo; a belief in what is generally accepted to be the fact; a belief in what has always been will be; a belief in something contrary. You have to believe in the future you desire if you want to experience it. Don’t be carried away by what is happening right now; your best is ahead of you.

Unbelief be gone, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, increase my faith, in Jesus’ name.

Anything is doable if…

“A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:” Proverbs 1:5.

Anything is doable if you are willing to learn. Learning and studying are the easiest ways to change your life. There is nothing a man has done that others cannot learn to do. If you are teachable and you know exactly what you need, you can change your life through learning. Plan to be in student mode for as long as you are in this world if you want to grow and become better. What you learn shapes your life and your destiny. If you really want to be happy and take responsibility for your life, have a daily learning goal. Learn intentionally.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

“Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:.” Proverbs 6:6 KJV

You can learn through observation, listening, and following. The disciples spent time with Jesus, and they became bold like Him (Acts 4:13). Some wretched people followed David, and they became mighty warriors (1 Samuel 22:2 vs. 2 Samuel 23:8–39). It cannot ever be over for you if you are willing to learn new things and grow at whatever level you are. You can read and not learn; don't ever make that mistake in your life. Always read to learn.

Arise and shine, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me appetite for learning, in Jesus’ name.

Turn evil counsel to foolishness!

“And one told David, saying Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O Jehovah, I pray You, turn the advice of Ahithophel to foolishness.” 2Samuel 15:31.

Everyone needs the favor of man to be who God wants him to be (Luke 2:52). An evil counselor is someone who counsels people against you. Some of them are like Ahitophel, who, when he gives counsel, the counsel is as if God has spoken. Some may be like Haman, who had a position of authority with the king. In any case, all of them can and must be conquered. David conquered Ahitophel by asking God to turn his advice into foolishness. His counsel was subsequently rejected, and he ended up hanging himself. Haman was conquered by God’s favor over Esther and the Jews. Hear the word of the Lord: A favor is coming upon you that will frustrate all evil counselors in Jesus’ name.

“Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.” Psalms 35:1KJV

“And when Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled his ass, and arose, and gat him home to his house, to his city, and put his household in order, and hanged himself, and died, and was buried in the sepulchre of his father.” 2Samuel 17:23KJV

Are you asking for a favor, seeking a job, promotion, contract, financial assistance, or something good, and you sense someone may be offering counsel against you? Then do these:

1. Have faith in God that He will give you the favor you need. “When a man's ways please God, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Prov 16:7. “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him.” Hebrews 11:6

2. Ask God to turn every counsel against you to foolishness in Jesus’ name.

It is your season, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let all counsel against me be turned to foolishness and rejected. in Jesus name. in Jesus’ name.

God changes seasons!

“And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:” Daniel 2:21KJV

You surely desire a change of season; all you need is to acquaint yourself with the season changer and be at peace. God is the season changer. He changes times and seasons. If you yield and submit to Him and quit worrying, He will change the season in your favor. Good will come to you: children will come to you, your own spouse will come to you, health will come to you, and wealth will come to you. Whatever you consider good will come to you.

“Now yield and submit yourself to Him [agree with God and be conformed to His will] and be at peace; In this way [you will prosper and great] good will come to you.” Job 22:21(AMP)

“And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:” Ruth 1:16 KJV

Ruth's story is a beautiful example. Her husband had died, and her mother-in-law was going to leave her to return to the living God. Ruth chose to go with her. Her season changed. She did not only marry the richest man in the land, but she also became the great, great grandmother of Jesus Christ. I see your season changing as you yield totally to God.

The hour of darkness is over, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, the season changer, change the season to my favor in Jesus’ name.
