Is there not a cause?

“And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?” 1 Samuel 17:29 (KJV)

For every effect, of course, there is a cause. Finding and dealing with the root cause of a matter is the beginning of a lasting and sustainable solution to the matter. If you see a system that is working or someone that is getting results, there is a secret and there is a cause. If you find out, you also can repeat the result or you can put in place the system. Also, if something is not working, there is also a cause, if you find the root cause, you can deal with it.

“And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.” Matthew 3:10KJV

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Luke 13:12KJV

Some issues will keep coming back until the root cause is dealt with. If you are confronted by such a repetitive solution, you must dig through to the root. Your weapon is thinking and praying. You can think through the matter, and you can also pray through the matter. Since as a believer, the power of God is at work in you, you can always deal with the cause of any matter.

It is a week of positive testimony for you in Jesus' name.

Prayer for today: I uproot the root cause of any long stand challenge in my life in Jesus' name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Woman, why weepest thou?

“Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.” John 20:15 (KJV)

Today is Mother’s Day, for all mothers and aspiring mothers, Jesus knows your pain, weep no more. He knows your weeping particularly when you seek something that is important to your heart and it seems it has been taken by the enemy. He is available to provide and restore what you seek. He is available to respond to your need. The night of weeping is over. The morning of joy is here. Whatever is holding what you seek shall forcefully release it. Only believe, turn to the Lord, and do whatever He tells you to do.

“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalms 30:5KJV

“And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.” Luke 13:12KJV

For every woman who is presently weeping because she seeks motherhood, the Lord is saying to you weep no more. I decree that the gate of motherhood is open for you in Jesus' name. For every woman who is weeping because of the pain of seeking a caring husband or a loving child, weep no more because your joy shall be full. For every woman, even mothers, who are bound emotionally, physically, or spiritually, you are loosed from your infirmity in Jesus' name,

Mothers, stop weeping, your joy is now in Jesus' name. Happy Mother’s Day.

Prayer for today: The night of my weeping is over, my morning of joy has come in Jesus' name.

Don’t miss His voice

“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” John 4:14 (KJV)

No matter the situation, don’t miss the voice of the Holy Spirit, and don’t mix His voice with another. Whether at the time of planting or at the time of harvest, never miss His voice. You need to know that the enemy is always targeting His voice in your life. He knows that if you either miss or mix His voice, you will not think right, And if you don’t think right you will act wrongly.  No good or bad situation is more significant than God’s voice in your life. If His voice is clear, you will never need to worry.

“For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,  Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.” Acts 27:23-26KJV

“And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.  And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.  But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.” Matthew 14:28-30KJV

Now this is the message, the voice of the storm may be louder, but it is not stronger. His voice is stronger than the storm and its voice. The wisdom and the power of God are made available to you through His voice. If you get it right with His voice, the outcome of any situation is predictable and it is VICTORY.

You will never be confused by the enemy, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, help me to get it right with Your voice in Jesus' name.

There is a source

“But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:14 (KJV)

Yesterday, I shared with you about the fact that there is a course. This morning, I want you to understand that although there is a course, there is also a source that cannot run dry. If you understand this scripture and walk in it, you will always have divine provision to finish your course successfully. Here, I am talking about the source of provision of both spiritual and physical needs for your mission to be accomplished.  Whatever assignment God has given you, you are only a channel. If you are in contact with the source, you can never fail or run dry.

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:4KJV

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13KJV

The message is saying if you stay connected with God and His Holy Spirit, you will have nothing to worry about. In actual fact, you will be amazed at the level of results you that you will deliver continuously. You cannot be threatened by the enormous task when you understand the unlimited strength of your God. Beloved, please maintain fellowship with the Holy Spirit, listen to Him, and obey Him. If you do, the source will keep on flowing through you.

You are a channel, stay connected with the source, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, pour yourself into me and strengthen me in Jesus' name.

There is a course

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)

Life is a course that must be finished. Life is a mission that must be accomplished.  Until you see life this way, you may be running as though beating the air. This means that you must know your purpose and establish your aim. You must treat life with a sense of mission and direction. Life is also a fight of faith. This means that there will be challenges that will want to distract you from your mission. The challenges must be fought and overcome through faith. Faith is an indication that you have heard God. If you keep the faith, you will finish the course.

“I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.” 1 Corinthians 9:26-27KJV

“Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.” Acts 26:19-20 KJV

Every issue in this world is waiting for a man with a mission (Romans 8:19), and that is you. The question is, do you know the course you are engaged in? Do you know the race that is set before you? You can easily answer this question based on what you have invested your time in. Please define clearly your mission and pursue it with all your strength.

You are a man on a mission, you will finish your course, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, use me to fulfill your purpose on earth in Jesus' name.

Don’t fear failure

“The lazy one [manufactures excuses and] says, “There is a lion outside! I will be killed in the streets [if I go out to work]!”” Proverbs 22:13 (AMP)

The fear of failure is the beginning of failure. The fear of failure is one major reason why most people don’t take action on their ideas. The truth is that if you refuse to do something, you have accepted failure. However, if you start taking steps toward your dreams, you will learn along the way, but you will be successful. People who are successful have failed many times, but they don’t call it failure. They call it the learning curve. Archbishop Idahosa said it is more risky not to take risks.  The wise man says an excuse not to do something amounts to laziness.

“If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.” 2 Kings 7:4 KJV

“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15 KJV

The message for you today is that you should do something about the idea God has given you. If you don't, someone else will receive the idea and run with it. Put your hand on the plough and don’t look back until you are successful. Think of it this way, the God who gave you the idea is your Father, and He will see you through.

May you take the first step today and never look back, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Help me, Oh God, to do something worthwhile with my life in Jesus' name.

You can breakthrough within a day!

“Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” Isaiah 66:8 (KJV)

Beloved, it does not take forever to break through in prayer. Hear the word of the Lord; you can break through on any issue in prayer within a day. If you are ready, focused, and passionate as a woman in childbirth, there is no issue in life you cannot get through in prayer within a day. It does not matter how long the issue has been; when you are ready, you get your breakthrough. It did not take Elijah many days to bring the rain back to Israel; when he was ready, he got the breakthrough.

“So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not.” 1 Kings 18:42-44

“And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.” Genesis 32:24-26

What of Jacob? When he was ready to get his blessing in the right way, he did not take him many days. He prayed through in a single night. You know what? When you are ready and desperate enough, you will shut the door behind you, switch off your phone, and pray till you get an answer. The good news is that it won’t take a whole day.

You are getting your breakthrough right now, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let my story change for the better right now in Jesus' name.
