The season shall change

“Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.” Genesis 41:14 (KJV)

I have a word for someone who longs for a change of season this morning: The season shall change. Your harvest shall come, and your hair shall grow again. Joseph, despite his dreams, went through many seasons in life. The worst could have been his time in prison. However, it turned out to be his closest opportunity that eventually opened the door to the throne for him.  He maintained his joy and his contributions despite the odds against him. My word to you this morning is to keep your joy and keep on growing. The opportunity that will change your season will come, but you must be ready and prepared.

“Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven.” Judges 16:22

“Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:” Daniel 2:21-22

Daniel called God the season changer, and I agree. When God visits a man, He changes his season. When God visits a land, He changes its season (Ruth 1:6). Get ready! God will visit you, and your season will change. Please, as you continue to pray, work on yourself. Personal development is the key to appropriating opportunities. Learn new skills and develop the ones that you already have.

You shall laugh last in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: The God that changes times and seasons, visit me and change my season in Jesus' name.

Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Think deep and give thanks

“I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.” Psalms 89:1 (KJV)

It is the first Sunday in the fifth month, and for us as a church, every first Sunday is a Thanksgiving Sunday.  Anyone who can think deeply will know how to give thanks. Our mouths must speak continuously of God’s mercy and goodness in our lives. It is by His mercy that we have not been consumed. Many are dying, and many are unable to come out of the snare of the enemy, but for us, the snare is broken and we have escaped.

“It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23

“Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.” Psalms 124:7

Just think about it this way, God has given you a brand new day, so He is giving you an opportunity to express your destiny. Give thanks. Thanksgiving is also access to His presence and more of His love. As you give thanks and praise to the Lord, may He cause your joy to be full in Jesus' name. Cast your burden on the Lord through thanksgiving, for He cares for you.

May you experience the love of God every day of your life in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I am very grateful for all you have done for me and for what you will yet do for me in Jesus' name.

Never get weary

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap Galatians 6:7 (KJV)

The Bible specifically mentions two things in which we should not get weary. These are praying and doing good deeds. Both are seeds that guarantee your breakthrough if you don’t get weary.  And indeed, if you enter into the harvest of these two, your destiny can never recover from the goodness of God. These two are the best ways to predict a glorious future. This is the message, no matter what you are going through, don’t stop praying and don’t stop doing good deeds.

“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;” Luke 18:1

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9

Zechariah doubted when his harvest came, but it could not stop the harvest. He prayed for a child, although in unbelief, but the child came. The Angel told him that God remembered his prayers. Beloved, I don’t know what you have been praying for, your answer shall come in Jesus' name. The Bible is full of people who, through good deeds, entered into their breakthroughs, beginning from Abraham to the people of faith in the New Testament.

You shall be rewarded in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: I call in my harvests of breakthroughs in Jesus' name.

This is your day

This is your day

“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalms 118:24 (KJV)

Every day that God has allowed you to see is made by God, and it is your day. Yes, it is your day, and if you see it that way, then it will bring you rejoicing and gladness. I don’t care to know what challenge you are facing right now, but the Lord asks me to declare to you that this is your day. For some, it is the day of victory, for others, it is the day of testimony. Someone’s turnaround is this day. Apart from this, never allow temporary situations to define your day; they are subject to change and will change. God has declared it your day.

“Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king's household.” 2 Kings 7:9

“Give us this day our daily bread.” Matthew 6:11

What should you do now? Accept that this is your day, and declare it so with the word of your mouth. Expect God’s wisdom and power at work as you engage in your goals for today. As you do so, you will know what to do in every situation and will also attract the right help for yourself.

This is your day in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, make this day and every other day in my life, positively remarkable in Jesus' name.

His Wisdom

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9  (KJV)

You can be on top of any situation in this world if you operate in the wisdom of God. God’s wisdom is His thoughts and His ways as revealed in His word. His wisdom is higher than ours. When man receives and operates in God’s wisdom, he beats all limitations on earth. The three Hebrew youths went into a furnace, which killed the giant who threw them in the furnace. They did not burn but had fellowship with the Lord right in the fire.  This is the wisdom of God at work.

“For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” 1 Corinthians 1:22-25

“Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.” John 20:27

Your contact with the wisdom of God is your faith in Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, there are many unbelieving Christians. John said to everyone in John 1:12, ““But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” Every Christian should do what Jesus told Thomas by reading and meditating on the four gospel and the book of Act until unbelief is driven out and we operate in the wisdom of God.

May you receive and operate in the wisdom of God in Jesus’s name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, give me wisdom and power in Jesus' name.

His Grace

“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)

The grace of God is multi-dimensional. His grace can stand for power, wisdom, favor, protection, provision, results, and excellence in our lives. When the grace of God is at work in the life of a man, he lives the life of God among the people of the world. Your limitations, your weaknesses, your strengths, and what you can or cannot do will not matter anymore when you have truly received grace from God. Life is hard and burdensome without the grace of God. The grace of God is the power of God at work in a mortal man.

“And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” John 1:16-17

“Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.” 2 Peter 1:2-3

If grace is so important, we must know how to receive it. Grace comes from knowledge. If you want the grace that God can give, you must be passionate about the knowledge of Jesus Christ.  This is not religious knowledge, but a personal encounter with the Lord. The driver for the grace of God in the life of any man is the truth of God in the life of the person. Jesus is the truth.

May you know Jesus Christ personally and intimately in Jesus’s name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let your grace be at work in every area of my life in Jesus' name.

His power

“God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God.” Psalm 62:11 (NKJV)

If power belongs to God and God is our father, is it right to ask where is the working His power? A beloved brother visited me yesterday, and we got into talking about what is happening around the world. Specifically, about people who do not know God and are now in control of political powers in many nations and allowing satanic doctrines and teachings in schools. Can the power of God in our lives also translate to political power? I think yes, if we hear His voice and receive His vision for the realm of politics as well as other realms.

“Gideon said to Him, “O my lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?.....” Judges 6:13

“Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm.” Daniel 6:3

Jesus said we should occupy until He comes (Luke 19:13).  Are we going to be able to occupy without display of His power in all realms? Beloved, it is high time we began to hear God and receive His power to operate in all realms, including governmental and political powers. I am afraid that if we don’t, we may be pushed into a corner. The power of God is where His voice is.

May you hear God’s voice and operate in His power in Jesus’s name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let your children all over the world begin to occupy through your power in Jesus' name.
