Invest 2

^“But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:” Matthew 6:2

Let us talk about the kingdom investment. God’s work is your opportunity to invest in the kingdom’s expansion. It takes money to preach the Gospel.  When you invest in God’s work as an act of love and in obedience, you position yourself for supernatural returns. This is your guaranty against the uncertainty of the world economy. I believe strongly that the least you can do is to tithe. Tithing gives everyone the opportunity to invest in God’s kingdom at his or her own level and to grow thereby.

 “The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” Proverbs 10:22

“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:” 2 Corinthians 9:7-8

Tithes and Offerings are God’s way of funding His work on earth. He rewards every committed investor with His grace and blessings which money cannot buy. For any reason, you can lose your earthly investment but you can never lose what you give to God. Investing in God’s work gives you protection against any form of devourers. However, it is important for you to do it out of understanding, revelation, and cheerfully.

May you experience supernatural harvest in every area of your life in Jesus name.

Invest 1

^“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22

Let me first talk about earthly investment. Plan to multiply your saving through the right investment. Savings don’t multiply in the bank in the presence of inflation, they reduce. Apart from this if you don’t tie the money to an investment you may have an opportunity to spend it. Consult with professionals and experienced friends to know where to invest your savings. Learn from others because wrong and deceitful instruments may swallow your savings.

“And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.” Mark 4:8

“Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.” Ecclesiastes 11:1

I think information is readily available at our fingertips for us to be equipped to invest correctly. If you put your investment on good ground, it will yield. Be aggressive for the right information if you want to succeed in this. You must consciously engage in investing your savings because your future depends on it. The time of harvest is preceded by the time of sowing.

Live on less

^“There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.” Proverbs 21:20

Money is an instrument for making your dreams and visions happen. Money also makes you live well. It is important for you to understand how to make, manage and grow your money. One key way to managing your money is to save, living on less.  You must separate your need from your want, and deliberately spend on your need, and save the rest. If you discipline yourself to save 20% of your income (Joseph’s formula), your financial future is guaranteed, no matter your current earning.

“Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.” Genesis 41:34

“The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.” Proverbs 22:7

If your need is more than your current status, you have overrated yourself and you will live in debt. Savings become difficult when a man’s need is more than his income. Learn to cut yourself to size. Life is in phases, men are in sizes. You can program yourself out of poverty and avoid debt if you do not spend it all. The time of plenty is your opportunity to secure your future. Create the plenty in scarcity by living on the less to secure your future.

Learn continually

^“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” Psalms 32:8

Learning precedes performance. What you don’t know you cannot do. Learning is for a lifetime. You cannot stop learning. If you do, you stop growing. Adequate learning puts you in charge and enables you to solve problems. Any time you are faced with hard issues, there is something you need to know. Learning is your key to solving the issue. Learning can be formal and informal. Leaning opportunities abound around us. Choose to consciously learn every day, it is one of the keys to secure your future.

“Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” Philippians 4:9

“And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.” 2 Kings 2:10

The result of learning is an easier and better life, although learning itself may not be easy. Choose your teacher because the quality of your learning depends on the quality of your teacher. Learn from the Lord through meditation on the scriptures and the Holy Spirit. This is your key to a fruitful life. Learn from a wise so that you will be wise and from the fool, so that you will not become a fool. Learn from whosoever has done what you want to do, this is called mentoring. It is your key to becoming a master of a skill, a business, or an endeavor.

Encourage yourself

^“And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.” 1Ssamuel 30:6

No matter what you are passing through or what you desire, encourage yourself. One great reason for you to encourage yourself is the Lord-God Almighty. You can always find encouragement for yourself in Him. See it this way, as a Christian, your life is in the hand of God. It is not in the hand of the devil or any contrary personality. Secondly, God is an unchangeable changer and a God of restoration. Thirdly, His promises can never fail. And lastly, there is nothing God cannot do. Be encouraged that God shall bring the change you desire in Jesus name.

“For I know that my redeemer liveth…….” Job 19:25a

“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” 2 Corinthians 1:20

What are you going to do now? Take your bible and find all the promises of God concerning your situation. Meditate on them until you believe them and you are encouraged by them. Then begin to declare them and ask God to perform His word in your life. God always speaks to the people who have encouraged themselves in Him, He also responds to their needs.

Your miracle is now in Jesus name.

Take responsibility

^“And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.” Genesis 3:12

Take responsibility for your life. Never blame anyone for your status or what you are going through. There are always two sides to the coin of life, positive or negative. If you take responsibility you will be on the positive side of the coin and be able to always turn things around. Sit down, evaluate yourself, identify what has brought you to this level and what you need to do to take you to where you want to be. Then do what you are supposed to do.

“I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.” Luke 15:18-19

“And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:  Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?” Luke 19:22-23

The main difference between the prodigal son and the servant with one talent was taking responsibility. The prodigal son took responsibility and was restored. The servant with one talent failed to realize that the master gave him what he had the capability to handle. He blamed the master for his own action and went down for it, just as Adam did in the beginning. Beloved, take responsibility for your life because you are the architect of your own destiny. Information abound that can lift you if you receive it positively and apply it.

May you have restoration and divine lifting as you take responsibility for your life in Jesus name.

Engage the Holy Spirit

^“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” John 16:13

Whatever challenge any man goes through on earth can be summarized into a question. The question is what shall I do now? You are above any situation if you know what to do. The Holy Spirit has the answers for everyone.  For every Christian, the Holy Spirit is given to comfort, to guide and to teach. He is called the Spirit of Truth. Now if you engage the Hoy Spirt in your walk in life, you will always have the answer when faced with any challenge. He is the best companion for our lives on earth.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John8:32

“And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:35

As a Christian, please don’t live without the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit in you and on you is the secret of supernatural life and results. Consciously invite Him into your life and into any assignment you have both secular and spiritual. David cried out in Psalms 51:11, “Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.” His secret was the Holy Spirit and he would not do without Him.

May you enjoy the fellowship of the Holy Spirit at all times in Jesus name.
