Implications of Victorious Christian life 2

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” John 7:37-38

The second implication of victorious Christian life is overflowing life. The Holy Spirit powers victorious Christian life. Every Christian must have the fullness of the Spirit in order to be a channel of blessing to himself and the people around him. We must continually thirst and long for Him to fully dwell in us so that His life can flow through us.

“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.” Psalms 42:1
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63

The indwelling Spirit of God in us enables us to possess the gifts of the Holy Spirit and to bear His fruits. These are the evidence of an overflowing life through whom others can contact God in us. The overflowing life is not flesh driven, but spirit-driven leading to supernatural results. It is God’s kind of life. Therefore, we must continually yield to the Holy Spirit in order to live this kind of life.

May you experience the overflowing life wherever you are in Jesus name.

Prayer point: Holy Spirit, possess and anoint me for your life to flow through me in Jesus name.
Call to Salvation: Lord Jesus, I believe in the forgiveness of sin and in the redemption from the power of darkness through your blood. I confess you as my Savior and Lord.  I invite you into my life to save my soul. Holy Spirit, come into my heart and make me what you want me to be. Thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus name.

Implications of Victorious Christian life 1

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3

When you are born of God, you are an overcomer. The victorious Christian life is enforced by faith (1 John 5:4). This has seven implications. The first that I want to share with you is the peaceful life. You must enjoy peace in this tempestuous world because everyone, born of God, has overcome the world. This peaceful life comes to you because your mind is on God and you trust Him through His Son Jesus Christ.

“And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.” 2 Kings 6:16
“And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?” Mark 4:38

This peaceful life is possible because you have confidence that God is in charge of your battles, your troubles, and your challenges. This comes because you have cast your cares and burdens on Him because you are convinced that He cares for you. It is a fear-free life because you believe that God is with you. You can enjoy peaceful sleep even in the midst of a raging storm because you are confident that God is in charge.

May you experience this peaceful life in Jesus name.

Prayer point: Let the peace of God, which passes all understanding keep my hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

This affliction is over 2

“What do ye imagine against the Lord? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.” Nahum 1:9

Affliction may come, but the word of the Lord is clear about God’s response to afflictions in the lives of His children.  God said affliction should not rise up the second time. God also said He should deliver you from all.  This means that it is spiritually illegal for affliction to stay in your life. It is important to know how to enforce the word of God and terminate any form of affliction that may want to harass your life.

“And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.” Exodus 2:24
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Matthew 11:12

When the people of Israel cried out to God concerning their afflictions in Egypt; God heard them and delivered them.  This was because they were His covenant children. You are a Covenant Child of God. If God heard them then, He will hear you today. Pray through the will of God and terminate every affliction in your life. You must be violent in your spirit against any form of affliction and speak to it to die. Beloved, speak directly against any affliction in your life with boldness and confidence and see God manifesting His word in your life.

This affliction is over forever in Jesus name.

Prayer point: Oh God arise and put a total end to any affliction in my life in Jesus name.

This affliction is over 1

“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.” Psalm 34:19-20

I have a word from the Lord for you, this affliction cannot break you; it is over forever. It does not matter what the challenge is, if it is an affliction, God’s word and power have taken care of it. God has not dealt with part of the afflictions, but all of it. You are the righteousness of God, and He has promised you deliverance from all your afflictions.

“And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.” Acts 7:9-10
“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.  And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.” Acts 16:25-26

God sent Joseph to Egypt, but he was afflicted. God delivered him from ALL of his afflictions and promoted him in the same land of his affliction. I see deliverance coming to you and your promotion manifesting in Jesus name. Paul and Silas did not do any evil, but they were on God’s assignment to bring deliverance to the people. They were arrested and imprisoned, but God brought a great deliverance to them out of the affliction. This affliction is over forever in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer point: I declare according to the word of the Lord that this affliction is over forever in my life in Jesus name.

God-given wisdom

“For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.” Luke 21:15

May God baptize you with wisdom in this month of February in Jesus name.  The world may hate us because we are Christians and because of our ways (John 15:18-19). But the good thing is that the world doesn’t care whether you are a Christian or not if you have results and power. If you operate with God-given wisdom, results are inevitable (Luke 7:35). John 12:18 says, “The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.”

“There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and WISDOM, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;” Daniel 5:11

When you have God-given wisdom, you will be able to deal wisely in all affairs of life. You will know what to do and what to say at every point in time.  Joseph and David had this wisdom and Paul prayed for the Christians to experience it. Eph 1:17 says, “ “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of WISDOM and revelation in the knowledge of him:” This baptism is experienced by praying through and by meditation on the word of God.

I ask God to give you this experience in Jesus name.
Prayer point: O God baptize me with wisdom in Jesus name.

Let there be light 2

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1

Your access to the light of God gives you access to His glory. I explained yesterday that God’s light is His word. When you receive, believe and act on God’s word, you will display His glory. It is of utmost importance for you to know what God is saying to you at all times. Your shining in this dark world depends on it. Your turning point in any situation is access to God’s light.

“In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:4-5

Light like the wisdom of the gods, was found in Daniel. That explained why he shined in His days. Jesus is the light and He lives in you. This means as a child of God, you cannot be swallowed by the darkness of this world because the light of God lives on the inside of you. Now it is important for you to yield to the light and let it shine through you. This only comes from fellowship with Jesus and a life of total obedience to Him

I see the light of God shining through you in this dark world in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: I am arising and shining through the word of God in my life in Jesus name.

Let there be light 1

“And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Genesis 1:2-3

Light is the answer to every form of darkness. Light is the answer to every form of confusion. Light is the answer to every form of dryness and scarcity. Light is the answer to every form of frustration and struggle. What is light? Light is the information or revelation that gives an understanding of a prevailing situation and the wisdom to handle it. It does not matter what situation you find yourself if you have light, you will handle it successfully. There is light in the word of God, both the written and the spoken.

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” Psalm 119:130
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

God has the light you need to turn your life around. The first point of call if you are struggling with anything in life is God your creator. God has a word for you, a revelation that will crush the opposition of the power of darkness and direct you to a place of abundance and victory. Job said in Job 14:14, “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Peter said in Luke 5:5, “And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.”

This is the word of the Lord to you this month: Your struggle is over in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, let there be light in every area of my life in Jesus name.
