The time is “now”

“For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, NOW is the time of God’s favor, NOW is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2

“Now” is the time that belongs to you. If you are going to change your life and experience the favor of God, it is “now.” If you are going to complete a “mountain like” project, you must do something about it “now.” What you do “now” affects everything about your life. Take a step “now” towards your goal if you want to achieve it. Your deliverance is “now.” Your salvation is “now.” Your breakthrough is “now.”

“NOW faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1
“You have heard these things; look at them all. Will you not admit them? “From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you. They are created NOW, and not long ago; you have not heard of them before today. So you cannot say, Yes, I knew of them.’ ” Isaiah 48:6-7

The power of faith is in “now.” If you have received an important information, you must use it “now.” If you are going to create a new thing, the time is “now.” Beloved, “now” is another chance that God has given you to change your life. Pray that prayer now. Read that book now. Take that action now. “Now” has been given to you, use it to bring your expectation into manifestation

May the power of procrastination be broken over your life in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God arise and change my life NOW in Jesus name.

God will do a new thing!

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.  Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19.

I have a word from the Lord for you: God is about to make you to experience new things.  God is saying to you, forget your past failures, it is time to experience success. Forget your pass disappointments; it is time to experience appointments. Forget your past rejection, it is time to experience acceptance. God is saying to you, forget your past success, it is time for a new success and breakthrough. He says, the new things shall manifest now.

Let us examine two major things God mentioned in our text:
1. A way in the wilderness: Wilderness situation is a situation of stagnancy, putting efforts without results. Wilderness situation is a lonely situation where there are no helpers. Note that there may be people but none of them is a helper. Wilderness situation is a situation of speaking without making sound; a situation where a man is speaking and no one is hearing. God is going to make a way for you. You will come out of your wilderness situation and experience a breakthrough in Jesus name.
2. Rivers in the desert. Desert situation is a situation of dryness. It indicates financial hardship and lack. God is saying that abundance will replace your desert situation.

What must you do to expertise these new things?
1.Believe. “…Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” 2 Chronicles 20:20.
2. Declare. “Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you” Numbers 14:18
3.Obey. “His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.” John 2:5
I see God doing new things in your life this week in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: I declare that God will do new things in my life today, this week and this year in Jesus name.

When the night is prolonged 8

“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” Philippians 4:4

Another light that you need when the night is prolonged is that you must rejoice always. Never allow the darkness of the nighttime to get into you. The darkness that is around you but never get into you cannot last. When you keep your joy, you keep your strength and your light. This light, darkness of the nighttime cannot overcome it.

“And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad. And he asked Pharaoh's officers that were with him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day?” Genesis 40:6-7
“Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.” Psalms 42:5

Joseph remained excited despite the fact that he was in a nighttime of imprisonment. He helped the Pharaoh officers to come out of sadness despite the fact that he was in prison for an unjust reason. He kept on believing the promise of God and that the nighttime would be over. His connection with the Pharaoh Officer was key to the opportunity he eventually had to get out of the prison and be established in the palace. David addressed the nighttime of his life by remembering the promises of God to help and rejoicing in it. May the joy of the Lord fill your heart. May you keep your joy in the nighttime of your life in Jesus name.

Let your nighttime expire and let your daytime begin in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: My soul rejoice always and let myr nighttime be over in Jesus name.

When the night is prolonged 7

“And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.” Acts 3:5

Expectation comes before manifestation. You are only qualified to receive what you expect. It is important that you direct your expectations to the God that can never fail.  Jesus Christ has solutions to the prolonged nighttime. Give heed to Him and expect Him to terminate your nighttime.

“And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.” 1 Samuel 1:10-11
“And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.” Mark 10:47

In a great expectation, Anna turned to God to terminate her nighttime of barrenness and got what she expected. Bartimeus did the same thing and his nighttime of blindness came to an end. In 1 Chronicles 4, Jabesh got solution to the nighttime of curses ranging against his life when he turned to God expecting an answer. May you receive answer as you expect God to intervene in your nighttime in Jesus name.

Let your nighttime expire and let your daytime begin in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Oh God, I expect my nighttime to come to an end, let it be so in Jesus name.

When the night is prolonged 6

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thess 5:18

Thanksgiving, praise and prayer have power to switch on the light in the midst of the darkness of the nighttime. Maintaining your gratitude towards God and spending time with Him in prayer is the key to ensuring continuous light when the night is prolonged. It does not matter how thick the darkness of a night is, as long as there is light, the darkness loses its power.

“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.” Acts 16:25-26
“Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand.” Psalms 149:5-6

If you engage the power of thanksgiving, praise and prayer when the nighttime is prolonged, two things will happen. Firstly, you will have access to a word, a promise from God that will see you through. Secondly, God will appear to shake the root of the darkness in your life and to terminate the nighttime.

Let your nighttime expire and let your daytime begin in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: As I pray with thanksgiving and praise, Oh God arise and appear in my nighttime in Jesus name.

When the night is prolonged 5

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:” Mathew 7:24

God’s word to you is your light in the darkness of the nighttime. If you have a word from the Lord, you have the light you need. Psalms 119:105 says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” What should be your response to the word? Simple believe, obey and do it. Mary said in John 2:5, “Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.” Our text this morning says if you do the word, you are wise.

“And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?“ 2 Kings 5:13
“And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.” Luke 5:5

The word of the Lord came as an instruction to Naaman to terminate his nighttime of leprosy but he rejected the word and was angry. Nevertheless, fortunately he had wise servants with him to whom he listened. The servants advised him to do the word and he did it. His nighttime of infirmities was over forever.  Peter obeyed the word and his nighttime of failure came to an end. It does not matter how foolish the word may sound to you, if you do it, you will be wise and your nighttime will be terminated.

Let your nighttime expire and let your daytime begin in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: Let the word of the Lord come to me in Jesus name.

When the night is prolonged 4

“Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.” Joshua 10:12

You have the power to speak to your nighttime and it will obey. All things tangible and intangible have capacity to hear and respond. Your declaration can change your life, change your situation and bring light into your darkest nighttime. God said in Genesis 1, let there be light and there was light. Joshua made declaration in the sight of the people that the sun and the moon should stand still and they both did.

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;“ 2 Corinthians 4:13
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23

Never neglect the power of bold declaration to put an end to the prolonged night in your life. The spirit of faith is activated by declaration of what you believe. Believe that your nighttime shall be terminated and make declaration to enforce to it.

Let your nighttime expire and let your daytime begin in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: My nighttime, hear the word of the Lord, be over forever in Jesus name.
