Divine sanitation

“Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.” John 14:30

“And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.  And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:  And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.” John 2:13-16.
Don’t keep anything that belongs to satan with you if you want to enjoy your Christian life. Whether in the house you are living or in your body, don’t permit any property of satan. If satan finds his property anywhere, he will come in and work there. And I tell you his work is not good. The bible says, he steals, kills and destroys.
Can you believe that he was looking for something in Jesus? But he could not find anything. He was looking for something that would permit him to come in and hinder the work of our salvation but he found nothing.
Jesus dealt with the sellers of oxen, sheep and doves and the changers of the money in the temple with a scourge to restore the dignity of the temple. He drove them out with notable zeal. This is because when unwanted guests are welcome in a place, they change the outlook and effects of the place. Don’t permit the work of the flesh, fear, unbelief, hatred, lies, fornication and such in your life. They are the properties of the devil but your body is the temple of God.

May the power of the blood of Jesus sanitize your body. May satan and his cohorts not find a place in your life in Jesus name.
Prayer for today: Just as satan had nothing in Jesus, he shall have nothing in me in Jesus name.

Discipline and obedience

“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:” Isaiah 1:19

Sacrifice is the price tag for anything worthwhile. If it is needed, it will cost you something. Nothing falls on your laps without doing anything. If you want it, it is your duty to find out how much it costs and you pay. Discipline and obedience are necessary sacrificial steps you must take if you want anything in both spiritual and physical situations.

If you are willing you will discipline yourself to do what must be done at all cost. A willing student will not sleep until he has finished the assignment and prepared for the test. A willing business person will wake up on time to get to work. Discipline means telling your body what to do and not the other way round. Missing some meals and sleep will not kill you neither will hard work kill you.

Obedience has to do with specific instructions given to you to obtain a goal or desire.  It also has to do with the information you have received to achieve your goal. To obey is to respond positively to the information you have heard and believed. No information brings profit unless you do something about it. I discovered it is easier to obtain information than to do it. Most people have enough information to change their lives but their unresponsiveness is stagnating their lives.

I degree that the remain months this year will count positively for you; you will achieve your goals in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God help me to do what I need to do to achieve my goals in Jesus name.

Breakthrough

“And the three mighty men BRAKE THROUGH the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the Lord.” 2 Samuel 23:16 (KJV)

Any time the word breakthrough was mentioned in the bible, a major obstacle had been overcome. Beloved, if you facing a major or minor obstacle in your progress, I decree a breakthrough testimony in Jesus name.

“And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had BROKEN THROUGH, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.” Mark 2:4 (NKJV)

Some barriers are like the red sea and the Jericho walls. You need divine intervention and instructions to breakthrough such. At such, faith in God, prayer of faith, sensitivity to God’s voice, prophetic declaration and prayer of agreement are necessary instruments to invoke the power of God and get through them. Perhaps you are in such situation, I decree breakthrough for you in Jesus name. Do not give upon, do not turn back, speak to God and go through it.

I see you breaking through all barriers, physical and spiritual, in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God arise and deal with Jericho walls and red sea problems in my life, give me breakthrough that I may rejoice in you in Jesus name.

Repairing the broken hedges

“He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.” Ecclesiastes 10:8

Beloved, you are covered as child of God, there is an hedge around you that protects you from satanic (serpent) attacks (Job 1:10) Unless the hedge is broken you are not vulnerable. There are four major things that can break the hedge: fear, unbelief, un-forgiveness and unrepentance. You must watch out for these in your life. If the hedge is broken, you must do four things to repair the broken hedge.

1.              Forgive whosoever has offended you. Mathew 6:12 says, “And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”

2.              Repent and confess any known sin. 1 John 1:9,” If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

3.              Deal with any doubt of God in your life. Ask God to kill doubt in your life and help you to believe. Mark 9:24 says, “And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.”

4.              Deal with any fear in your life. Cry unto God if you are afraid of anything. Mathew 14:30 say, “But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.”

May the broken hedges in your life be repaired. May you be covered always by the blood of Jesus.

Prayer for today: Oh God protect me from every evil attack as the year is running to an end in Jesus name.

Reliable burden bearer

“Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” Psalm 55:2

“casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

Whatever burden you have, I have good news for you, there is a personality who is willing to bear the burden for you. He is a trusted burden bearer. Three big Nations came against Jehoshaphat and Israel in 2 Chronicles 20, God said to them, “don’t worry about it, you would not need to fight, I am taking over.” When Moses wanted to cry to Him in Exodus 14, He said to him, “you don’t need to cry to me just stretch the rod in your hand and part the sea.” He only had to take the hand of Peter in Mathew 14 for both of them to walk on water despite the fact that the wind was still boisterous. Trust Him with your burden, whatever it is, He will bear it for you.

Hear what He is saying to you:

“For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’” Isaiah 41:13

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?” Mathew 6:25

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Mathew 11:28-29

As you go to church this morning, talk to Him about your situation and then stop worrying about it. Give Him praise believing that He is in control. Do whatever He tells you to do.

Your burdens are lifted in Jesus name.

Seed of mercy

“Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.” Mathew 5:7

Mercy is an harvest. It responds to the seeds of mercy. If you are full of mercy you cannot live without enjoying mercy. If you want others to show you mercy, you must show mercy to people. Have you ever thought of how many people would run around for you if you need help?  If you have not shown mercy and been available to help others, you may be alone when you need people. Proverbs 11:17 says, “The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.” One way to show mercy is your respond to the needy, the orphans and the widows. If you have such around you, it gives you a great land of opportunity to show your seeds of mercy for a timely harvest of mercy in your life. Proverbs 11:25, “the liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.”

No matter how self-sufficient or great you think you are, you may need the mercy of someone someday. At such time, your seed of mercy will count.

May you be full of mercy in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God help me to be merciful so that I can obtain mercy in Jesus name.

Covenant and obedience

“And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.  And the angel of the Lord said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.  And the angel of the Lord said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.” Genesis 18:8-10

Covenants are activated by obedience.

Sarah had encouraged Abraham to go into Hagar because of her delay in child bearing. The moment Hagar saw that she was pregnant she revolted against Sarah her master. Eventually she had to flee because of the pressure from Sarah. However, God recognized the child as that of Abraham and as such he was a partaker of Abrahamic covenant and blessing. Hagar was going to make her son missed this because of her pride. An angel appeared to her and told her to swallow her pride and submit to Sarah. She obeyed, as a result, her son and his generation became blessed.

Beloved, obedience is a key factor to enjoy God’s covenant even the new covenant which is better than the old and sealed by the blood of Jesus. Whatever it may cost you, walk in obedience so that you and your coming generation shall be blessed.

May you be blessed in all your ways in Jesus name.

Prayer for today: O God help me to walk in obedience to your commandments and enjoy the blessing you have for me in Jesus name.
