Winning The Faith fight 2

“Jesus says, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you” [Matthew 17:20, Luke 17:6].
Faith has capacity to grow so a little faith is all you need. Just like the biggest plant is in the small mustard seed. Your greatest miracle is in your little faith. Never doubt the power of your little faith. The evidence of your faith is in your “saying.” Say to the mountain where it should move to. The mountain is waiting for what you will say to it. If you say something to it, it will obey. If you say nothing, it will just stay there. If you can say it, nothing will be impossible for you. Say it until you see it. All situations that are confronting you are waiting for your instruction through your faith filled words.
Ezekiel was taken to the valley full of dried bones in Ezekiel 37. The dried bones became a mighty army after a series of instructions given by Ezekiel as revealed to him by God. The bones came together. The flesh came upon them. The spirit came into them. All because Ezekiel said it to them.
Beloved, to win the faith fight, you must say something that agrees with your faith.
That mountain is crumbling before you in Jesus name.

Winning The Faith fight 1

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” 2 Timothy 4:7

Faith is a good fight. One reason is that the world-way is different from the bible-way, you must keep the faith in Christ and in His word. Another reason is that your present situation does not represent the best of God for you. You must see what God has for you and experience it despite your present situation. This also takes the faith fight. Lastly when the facts and the truth are not in agreement, you need faith to turn the fact to the truth.

Faith is a life time fight. You must understand it and use it for you to truly live on earth. Habakkuk 2:4, Roman 1:17 and Hebrews 10:38 emphasized that the Just shall live by faith. Anytime you need to challenge the status quo and make change a reality, the weapon of faith must be handy. When faith is present, result is inevitable.

Faith is both a gift and a fruit. This means God can give you the gift of faith and you can also develop faith. Lastly for this introduction of the series “Winning the faith fight,” patience and hope are faith enhancers.

I see you winning all your battles in Jesus name.

Three forces that determine your life 3

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Cor 13:13

The greatest force that determines your life is the force of love. When this force is operating in your life you will enjoy the fullness of God. When this force is operative, all the laws of God are automatically obeyed. Romans 13:10 says, “Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” Mathew 22:37-40 says, “Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” This force will always conquer poverty, infirmity, and all forces of evil. This force is about loving God, loving yourself and loving your neighbor. If you love God, you will obey Him. If you obey God, He will bless you, protect you, guide you and help you. The presence of God is with them who obey Him. You may pass through fire and through water, if the presence of God is with you, you will come out victoriously. If you love yourself, you will live a purposeful life. You will develop yourself, set goals, go after your goals and never give up. If you love your neighbor, you will not do him harm.

May the force of love be operative in your life. May you get to your promised land in Jesus name.

Three forces that determine your life 2

“For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease. Though its root may grow old in the earth, And its stump may die in the ground, Yet at the scent of water it will bud And bring forth branches like a plant.” Job 14:7-9

The second force that determines your life is the force of hope. This is the force that keeps you moving towards your goal in life. In life, the roads are not always smooth. There are valleys, mountains, seas, and rivers to be crossed. If the force of hope is not present, the heart becomes weak and the journey may be truncated. The force of hope gives reinforcement to the force of faith. Beloved, never lose hope no matter what you are passing true. A man may be breathing but if he has lost hope, he has lost his life.

Our text today says there is hope for a tree that is cut down, it will come up again. Even when its root grows old and dies in the ground, there is still hope for it. A contact with water will revive the tree. I do not know the level you are now, but there is something I know, there is hope for you.

Ecclesiastes 9:4 says, “For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.” There is a connection that will never fail you and that is your connection with Jesus. If you are joined to Him, I can tell you with all assurance that there is hope for you: your future is bright and beautiful no matter the state of the present. Micah 7:8 says, “Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.” Beloved, may be people are rejoicing because you are down now. Don’t lose hope because if you don’t, their laughter will not last. The light of God shall rise on you; you shall rise again.

Beloved, keep the picture of your glorious future before you. If you don’t lose hope, you will get there.

I see God making unusual things happen in your life in Jesus name.

Three forces that determine your life 1

“Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith [your trust and confidence in My power and My ability to heal] it will be done to you.”” Mathew 9:29 (AMP)

The first of the three forces that determine your life is Faith.  By the word “determine,” I mean control what is already happening in your life or what will happen in future. Faith according to Amplified version means trust and confidence. Faith is simply acting or speaking what you believe. In this message, I will use faith, believe and trust interchangeably. Whatever you believe, you have permitted to control your life. What is manifesting in your life and what will manifest in your life is determined by what you believe, your faith. Whatever or whoever you trust is given power to control or determine what happens to you. If you don’t like the evidences in your life, you will have to work on your faith. You can change contrary situation by believing the positive, acting and declaring it. In Mark 5:36, when Jairus was told that his daughter was dead, Jesus said to him, “don’t be afraid, only believe.” The question is “believe what?” I think, believe that his daughter was not dead! Jairus did, he believed that Jesus could still help him and that his daughter was not dead despite the fact that he has been told that she was dead. When Jesus got to Jairus house, he sent out the mourners, the people that believed that the girl was dead.

Beloved, be in charge of your life by meditating on the word of God, believing and declaring the word. Keep the company of those who believe and begin to see the word manifesting in your life.

Your story is changing for good in Jesus name.

Winning with your skills 5

“Then Jesus returned to Galilee, filled with the Holy Spirit's power. Reports about him spread quickly through the whole region.” Luke 4:14.

You are talented but get anointed too!

You came into the world packaged with talents, that is the gift of God to you for your life and destiny. But you must spend time with God to be anointed with the Holy Ghost and power. The anointing will help you to make unusual things happen with your skills and talents. Act 10:38 says, “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.” The anointing will also preserve you. Psalm 105:14-15 says, “He let no man oppress them; He rebuked kings on their behalf: “Do not touch My anointed ones; do no harm to My prophets.”” You cannot be anointed and be wasted.

If you are a doctor, be an anointed doctor; if you are a businessman, be an anointed businessman; if you are an engineer, be an anointed engineer; if you are a pastor, be an anointed pastor. Whatever you do be anointed. Anointing will help you win with your skills. To get anointed, you must personally spend time with God. Jesus returned to Galilee anointed after spending 40 days and 40 nights in the presence of God. He continued to spend time daily with God early in the morning or late into the night to stay anointed.

I see you winning with your skills in Jesus name.

Winning with your skills 4

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.” Philippians 3:12

Right attitude is critical to winning with your skills. Right attitude means doing what you are supposed to do when no one is watching or when no reward is in view. Right attitude means not giving up on yourself. Right attitude means being consistent until the time of your manifestation. Right attitude means staying excited when things are not working. Right attitude means doing what is supposed to be done at the time it is supposed to be done whether you feel like it or not. Right attitude means to discipline yourself to handle people and your time wisely. Right attitude means not categorizing any opportunity as unimportant. Right attitude means putting in your best at all times. Right attitude means pressing on towards the goal.

Joseph and Daniel in the bible had something in common. They had the right attitude. They maintained their success habits even when their environment was harsh and eventually they manifested. Joseph kept his joy when in the prison and still interpreted other people dreams. He did not allow the prison to deter him from using his skills. Daniel kept on praying even when there was a decree against that. He maintained his contact with the God that promoted him.

Never forget this, no matter how skillful you are, you need attitude to win with your skills.

May you be blessed in all your ways.
