Making Quality Decisions

"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:32(New Living)

Decisions are made everyday. You are where you are today because of decisions you made yesterday. So,your decision is an important determinant of where you will be tomorrow. Quality decisions in any area of your life will ensure quality life. Now, decision is made based on the information available to you. The more you know the truth, the better your decisions.

One important characteristic of Truth is that it is constant with time. Truth does not change. That is why quality decisions are based on truth. Quality decisions about life are based on God and His Word because they don't change (Malachi 3:6). You cannot make quality decisions based on such things as pressure from any side, temporary situations, or data that can change.

Beloved, what is God saying about what you just want to do? Is that decision based on pressure from any quarters? Pressure will fizzle out, hard times will pass away, financial situation can change, beauty can go, only the word of God remain constant. You should not be like Esau who made a major decision(birthright issue) based on a temporary situation (hunger) in Genesis 26:27-34.

I ask God to order your steps. You will not take a wrong step in Jesus name.

The Solution Is Close To You

"Salvation that comes from trusting Christ-which is the message we preach- is already within easy reach. In fact, the scriptures say, 'The message is close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart" Romans10:8 (New Living)

God has deposited in and around you what you need to overcome the challenges of life. One of these is the word in your mouth that can be used either in prayer or in consistent confession of the word of God. Another is your gift which you must develop and put to use. There are many other things and events around you which can start your miracles.

For Hagar and her dying son in the desert, it was a water well very close to her that God opened her eyes to see. (Gen. 21:19). For Moses and the Children of Israel at the red sea, it was the rod in the hand of Moses (Ex. 14:16). For the widow of the prophet who owed so much that creditors were going to seize her two sons, it was the little oil that was in her house. (2Kings 4:2). And for Timothy a youth pastoring the large church of Ephesus, It was his gift (2Tim. 1:6). So beloved, don't look too far, the solution is close by. It is in you and around you.

I ask God to open your eyes to what you have. Let His mighty hands see you through every challenge in life.

Little is much if…….

“One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?” John 6:8-9

Little is much if you make use of it!

Jesus needed to feed five thousand men excluding women and children. Andrew told him of little bread and fishes that was available though he thought it was too little to feed the people. However, Jesus made a wise use of the little and fed the people.

When you have little, it is an indication that you have potential for much. Many little steps towards a goal get the goal accomplished. Never despise what you call little because in our story it got the job done. Remember also that it was a little oil that delivered a widow from poverty in 2Kings 4.

Beloved, the little you have can get you there if you make a wise use of it.

Succeeding in Your God given Vision

“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper” psalm 1:3

As a child of God, success and prosperity is your portion. Particularly when you are engaged in a God given vision, you must as a matter of fact succeed. Let me share with you three things you need to succeed in your God given vision.
1.Seek adequate knowledge of the vision: Seek adequate knowledge of the vision that God has given you and take knowledge based actions on the vision. Most genuine vision loses out when there is no adequate knowledge. Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….”
2.Work wholeheartedly on the vision: when you work on your God given vision with your whole heart, failure will be a stranger to you. But when you are not totally committed, failure is inevitable. 1kings 20:40 says, “And as thy servant was busy here and there, he was gone…..”
3.Pray through on the vision: pray through on the vision to frustrate satanic attacks and limitations which may hinder success despite total commitment. 1Thess 5:17 says, “Pray without ceasing”

I decree all round success and prosperity in all your good work in Jesus name.

Curse the curse

“…and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement, thou shalt condemn…” Isaiah 54:17.

Curse is a judgement of the tongue and it is issued to afflict a person and makes him or her perform below his or her divine destiny (Numbers 22:6). It is a weapon in the hand of the enemy to cause sickness, debt, financial hardship, bareness, unfruitfulness, failure and premature death in the live of his victims.

Beloved, hear the word of the Lord, you are empowered to curse and condemn every curse working against you in the name of Jesus.

Goliath cursed David in the name of his god but David quickly responded in the name of the Living God, and consequently he defeated Goliath (1Samuel 17:43-47). Jesus cursed the fruitless fig tree and it withered within a short time. I am instructing you in the name of the Lord to curse whatever that wants to disgrace your life.

I curse the curse working against you in the name of Jesus. Begin to enjoy your divine destiny in Jesus name.

Have a wonderful day.

Even when it looks good……

“And the men took of their victuals and asked not counsel at the mouth of the LORD” Joshua 9:14.

Beloved, even when it looks good, make sure it is God!

The Gibeonites came with deceit to Joshua and the Israelites in Joshua 9. Joshua and his men listened to them and checked for physical evidences to proof what the Gibeonites said. Everything looked good and so they did not check with God. As a result they were deceived into making a covenant with the Gibeonites and later found that they were their neighbors.

Sometimes ago, a group of friends came to me with what they called a profitable business idea. Everything looked good about the business but when I asked God, He told me it would not be profitable. When I told them, they did not believe me. They went ahead and lost their money.

When making decisions, particularly major life decisions like career, ministry, marriage, business, location, companion; even if it looks good, seek also the counsel of God to be sure it is God.

Your day is blessed.

Conquering the second half

“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” Proverbs 4:18

I welcome you into the second half of year 2010. I decree that this second half will be better for you than the first half. God wants me to deliver to you two important keys to conquer this second half of the year. They were keys that Joshua used to conquer AI in Joshua chapter 7 to chapter 8.

Key 1: Eliminate error in decision making. Joshua eliminated Achan to conquer AI. The way to eliminating error in decision making is to possess knowledge (Mathew 22:29). You must have knowledge of God’s word and His power; and also specific knowledge in your area of specialization.

Key 2: Strategize: Joshua conquered AI by strategizing after eliminating Achan. Every goal can be achieved if you know what to do and you do it. Luke 19:3-5.

Have a wonderful week.
